Jeff jones is a lens based artist living and working in Victoria British Columbia which is situated on the southern tip of Vancouver island.

He has been a photographer since 2015 after discovering his father’s old film camera and immediately fell in love with the craft, learning how to develop ones own black and white negative and the history of photography itself . He finds the photo book and printed matter crucial as it elevates work from a collection of digital files to a tangible form one can hold .

He has self published small run trade edition magazines for the past 6 years

He works in the black-and-white medium, both digital and analog. His projects are long-term and are based on themes of the human condition and often stem from a sense of curiosity mixed with an emotional theme from personal experience.
